The fishing team competed at Sam Rayburn Lake on Nov. 10 as part of their effort towards becoming Texas State Champions. Montgomery brought 35 teams to compete against 221 other Houston-area teams on Texas’ largest lake.

The Bears Robotics Team competed for the first time ever in the BEST Robotics Competition on Sat. Oct. 13 at College Park. The Bears competed in three different rounds, themed “Current Events”. Students were charged with the creation of a robot which could collect trash from the ocean, and the design and construction process was not without its challenges.
